The passcode is optional. It protects your limit settings from an impulsive change in the moment, not your ability to leave. If you forget it, there is a built in reset you can start and confirm after a short wait, and deleting the app removes every limit immediately.

However, allowing someone else to set your passcode can add another layer of friction to help keep you accountable!
